Telegraaf Goes Green
We’ve long done the usual: we’ve recycled, used energy-efficient bulbs, offered optional laundering of bed linens and towels. But as of 2012 the Telegraaf has really gone green: We now offer guests the option of not having rooms cleaned at all. And when a guest chooses to “go green,” the Telegraaf donates a share of its manpower savings to community projects. While we don’t expect a guest to endure discomfort, there are times when rooms don’t require cleaning, and indications are that we’ll be able to donate 3,000 to 5,000 euros to the community by the end of 2012.
